Obituary of Shelby D. Treusdell
Please share a memory of Shelby to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Shelby D. Treusdell, 23 of Angelica, passed away on Sunday (Dec. 4, 2022).
Born in Wellsville, NY on Oct. 25, 1999, Shelby was the daughter of Tina Baker and John Treusdell. She was a 2017 graduate of Genesee Valley Central School, as well as a graduate of the Early Childhood Education program at the Career and Technical Education Center in Belmont. Shelby was an avid soccer player, and she also excelled in cheerleading all throughout high school. Shelby loved listening to music, and she loved to sing. When she had time, Shelby loved to draw. But most of all, Shelby loved her son Carter. Being a stay-at-home mom allowed Shelby to dedicate all her time to raising her son. Her love for him made her an amazing mommy, which could easily be seen by anyone that spent time with the two of them. Shelby had a big heart and would help anyone that needed it. She loved her family and friends deeply and wholeheartedly, and she was loved back just as much!
Shelby was predeceased by her best friend and grandmother, Diane, her great-aunt Betty, her cousin Sherry, and her life-long pet, Ginger. Shelby is survived by her son, Carter Cain, her mother, Tina Baker (Jason), her father, John Treusdell (Mary), two brothers, Stephen Treusdell (Kierstin), and Seth Treusdell, her boyfriend, Taz Cain, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Rather than sending flowers in Shelby’s memory, the family would welcome any Christmas gifts for Shelby’s son, Carter, age 4, to help during this difficult time.
