Eunice K.Duncan, 87 of Maple Street, passed away Friday (May 20, 2022) at Elderwood at Hornell.
Born in Churubusco, New York, on September 13, 1934, she was the daughter of John and Mary Breen Campbell. She was a graduate of Ellenburg Central School and the Paulson Business School in Prattsburg, NY. She had made her home in this area since 1973.
Eunice had been employed at the former Steuben Trust Company in Hornell prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of the former St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Hornell, and a member of Our Lady Of The Valley Parish of Hornell and a communicant of St. Anns Church. She was a member of the Hornell Woman of the Moose Lodge, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hornell American Legion, The Hornell Association and the AMVETS.
Eunice was always there to lend a hand to a friend or someone in need. She volunteered numerous hours helping with fund raisers at various community organizations. She was an avid Yankees fan.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Margaret DuBois, Alice Carter, and Mildred Desyn, her brothers, Ray, Robert, John, and Richard Campbell.
Surviving are her daughter, Denise Becher of Hornell, her sons, Kevin (Tracy) Duncan of Pittsford and Steven Duncan of Canisteo, her sisters, Dorothy Campbell and Gladys (Tom) Weinman both of Syracuse, NY, 4 Grandchildren, Morgan Becher, Ty Duncan, Jack Duncan, and Natalia Duncan.

The family will be present to receive friends on Monday (May 23, 2022) from 6 until 8PM at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell. Eunice’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anns Church in Hornell on Tuesday at 10 AM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery,Canisteo.
