Marjorie Jean Campbell Canisteo Marjorie Jean Campbell, 77, formerly of County Route 119, passed away Wednesday (Nov. 3, 2021) at Arnot Medical Center in Elmira. Born in North Hornell, March 4, 1944, the daughter of Wilson and Lillian Baker Stewart, she had resided most all her life in Canisteo. Marjorie will be remembered as a long-time waitress at the former Blue Angel Restaurant in Hornell. She and her Mother, also operated the kitchen/snack bar at the Hornell Bowl for several years. Following her retirement, she was employed on the cafeteria staff of the Arkport Central School. Marge attended the Faithful Followers of Christ Bible Church in Howard and adored her church family. When moving with her daughter she attended Restoration Church of Christ in Scio. She was predeceased by her parents, her son; Timothy Campbell in 2006, and her husband; Charles Campbell in 2007. Surviving are her daughters; Robyn (David) Mart of Ohio and Heather (Brian) Hunt of Belmont, her son; Alan and his wife; Kim Campbell of Canisteo, her sisters; Sally Hooker of North Hornell, Billie Stewart of Almond and Ginger Theilen of Hornell, her daughter-in-law; Nicole Campbell of Ohio. Also surviving are her Grand Children; Sadie (Nicole Vowell) Campbell, Lilly Campbell, Kate (Brian) Schmitt, Amanda (Jon) Chriscaden, Megan Lincoln, Brandon Pollizi, Cory Mart, Isaiah Mart, Michaela (Jeff) Taylor, Nicholas Hunt, Carson Bates and Walker Bates, Great Grand Children; Marley Chriscaden, Uriah Chriscaden and Riley Broakaw, Nieces and Nephews, her special companion; Harold Bates, her beloved canine friend, “Rosie” and Grand Pups; Silas, Riley Pup, and Jack. She leaves behind a host of adopted family, especially all the kids that called her “Grandma” and “Aunt Marge”. Casey and Kassy Fuller and their Family were exceptionally special to her. Marge looked forward to her Friday visits with her dear friend Darlene Brewer. One of her favorite quotes was you can’t make old friends. Friends wishing to send a remembrance to the family may visit or on Facebook@brownpowersfh. The family is being assisted by Gerald R. Brown, Director at Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Canisteo. It was Marjorie’s wish that there be no visiting hours. There will be a Private Memorial Service for family and guests at the Fresh Start Church in Hornell at the convenience of the family.
