Darwin (Duke) J. Flint, 77, of Wallace Road, Arkport, NY, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Born on March 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Paul Sr. and Dorothy (Sills) Flint of Canisteo, NY. Duke proudly served in the United States Army and shared many stories about his time at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. On November 24, 1972, he married the love of his life, Donna (Strobel) Flint. They had just celebrated 49 joyous years marriage. Duke retired from American Rock Salt Company, Mt. Morris, NY in 2007 after many years of scaling salt from the mines. He spent his retirement years hunting, fishing, landscaping his ponds and feeding his Koi fish. More than anything else, he cherished the time he shared with his family and his loyal dog. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna (Strobel) Flint, his sons, Jeff Moore of Cohocton, NY, Brian (Kelly) Moore of Arkport, NY, Bret Flint of Hornell, NY and daughter, Lori (Daniel) Cornish of Corning, NY, many deeply loved grandchildren, nieces and nephews and one very special great-grandchild, Beckett.
